Working one to one, whether face to face or by telephone, we can free you to do what you want to do. You may face a dilemma or need to sort out a problem. You may know what to do, but find difficulty in getting it done. You may be facing up to the uncertainties of a new role, or to the isolation of being the boss.
Professionals and experts in particular spend years qualifying, and then in developing and enhancing their professional skills. Having spent their professional lives concentrating on getting their work done as engineers, cooks or architects, they suddenly face having to run a business. They have to develop management and commercial skills, often with little training. Coaching can smooth the transition.
Coaching is based on learning, but not teaching, on changing, but not being changed. Skilled questioning and listening helps you to find your own solutions to what is, after all, your issue. Above all, the aim of coaching is to achieve action.
Business coaching and executive coaching overlap, but broadly the emphasis in business coaching is on what the business as a whole does, in executive coaching on what the executive does. For example, the success of Coca-Cola is based on marketing, yet the job of the CEO is to ensure that the marketing department does its job rather than to do it himself. In an SME, the CEO is probably going to spend some of their time marketing and selling. We can structure executive coaching through a robust no-fluff methodology, or the Six Sigma based Mastermind process, and business coaching using the proprietary CASTLE model. For each we offer a concentrated VIP Coaching Day.
Coaching can also be supported by our new Coaching Portal and by the New Alchemy Performance Assistant desktop resource for managers and partners. For a free trial, click here (takes you to external website).
