Profile:

After a taking a law degree at Cambridge, I qualified as a solicitor in 1981. After 12 years in practice, becoming a partner in a niche London insurance firm and then an associate in a premier Birmingham practice, I obtained an MBA from Warwick Business School. Subsequently I managed several legal practices, including a firm of Patent Attorneys.

I established Iwan Thomas Associates to offer Business and Executive Coaching and Management Consultancy, particularly to professional service organisations and SMEs. Iwan Thomas Associates have worked for solicitors, entrepreneurs, and the not for profit sector.

I am a Certified MasterMind Executive Coach, a Certified Business Coach and a Certified Professional Coach.

I has never been an athlete - that's a different Iwan Thomas.

As part of my commitment to maintaining professional coaching standards, I am a Member of the International Coach Federation.  I am also a member of both the Black Country and the Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, and (until its abolition due to reorganisation) sat on the Skills Group of Alliance for the Black Country, part of the Black Country Chamber. I am a volunteer with the Cranfield Trust.

Our current Charity of the Year is the Kids Club Kampala .
